Question for you…
What’s an investment you’ve been wanting to make, but have been putting off?
Maybe you’ve been wanting to hire a personal assistant, so you can finally delegate the tasks that are keeping you from higher level work.
Or maybe you were thinking of spending a little money on a new wardrobe, so you can feel more confident in meetings.
Or perhaps you’ve been wanting to upgrade your home office space to feel more peaceful and productive.
Whatever that investment you’ve been considering is…
Stop waiting — for people’s approval, for it to be “the right time,” for the math to add up any differently than it did yesterday, for the moment when you just “feel ready...”
Because if you want to make more money, then you need to make decisions from an abundant place, without hesitation or delay.
In other words, you need to make Million Dollar Decisions faster.
Too many of us wait too long to make money moves. Instead of seeing an opportunity for growth and seizing it on sight, we hem and haw.
We wait 6 months, or 3 years, or a whole decade. We ask everybody and their mama for their opinion, and stay frozen in place waiting for somebody else’s permission.
But here’s the thing. Making decisions from an abundant place means trusting yourself.
For example, when I invest in something, I can guarantee that I’ll get a return on that investment.
How is that possible?
Because I’m not investing in some third-party, outside force that I just hope works out for me.
I’m investing in myself — and I trust myself to deliver a return on that investment.
When I spend money on a stylist, or an event space, or a property, I trust myself to get a return. That return is either in goods sold, or the lessons that I get out of the experience (which I can then turn into more money).
This is the level of self-trust I want you to have.
Now, I can hear you thinking, “But Rachel, that’s easy for you to say because you’ve proven that you can trust yourself — it’s not so easy for me, because I haven’t yet.”
To which I say… How do you think I got here?
I wasn’t born with abundance — let alone an abundance mindset. I learned how to make Million Dollar Decisions over time. It was hard at first, until it became easy, until it became a habit that I don’t even have to think about.
And I promise, you can get there too.
So I dare you to imagine… What if you KNEW you could count on yourself to make good on your investment?
Would you take action today? And if so, then what are you waiting for?
If you’ve done your research and considered the outcomes, then it’s time to make that decision, so you can see your return on that investment ASAP.
And if you’re still struggling with this on an emotional level, then ask yourself what needs to happen for you to trust yourself, and take action on whatever that is — now.
The faster you get at making abundant, Million Dollar Decisions, the more money you will earn.
So hire the personal assistant, the life coach, or the domestic help you need. Buy new work clothes. Move to a better office.
Not only because you deserve it — but also because you WILL turn that investment into more abundance.
And these investments shouldn’t only be in what society tells you is “professional” or a “business decision.”
When women, especially Black women, want to take care of ourselves so we can feel strong and powerful, we are called frivolous.
I call BS. That is misogyny. That is anti-Blackness.
Self-care — getting your eyebrows threaded, your hair done, your nails painted — is a business decision.
Spend your money however you need to spend it, so you can show up feeling confident and go do the damn thing that’s gonna make you money.
And if you want some more guidance on how to make decisions that will change your life and bank account, take the Growth Scale Assessment.
The Assessment will tell you what level of business growth you’re at right now, and tell you how to hit your next revenue level.
Once you take the Assessment, you can learn more about the investments that make sense for your business, and feel even more confident in betting on yourself — faster.
